My philosophy
Japanese cooking to me is all about the use of seasonal fresh ingredients. I use organic where possible and try and stay away from chemical additives.
I was taught to cook by my mother so this class focuses on home cooking. Japanese food uses relatively little oil, is dairy free and as long as you watch the salt and sugar, it can be a healthy way to eat. Above all for me, it is comfort food. I hope you will feel the same way after taking my classes.
About Me
The Classes
Classes will be held in my loft in central London. Recipes will be provided so you can take notes while you watch. Afterwards we can all sit down together and enjoy the dishes prepared that evening.
The classes are organised in blocks of 5. The first class is an introductory one and the other 4 build on skills learned in the first one.
The maximum I can take in any one class is 6 people.
Cost is £40/class. If you sign up for 3 or more classes, the trip to Japan Centre is included.
